California Professional Conduct and Ethics

This course meets the requirement of the California Board of Accountancy (CBA) for 2 CPE hours of California specific ethics.  It contains all legislative and CBA changes enacted by the legislature and Board through June 30, 2017.

Author Information

  • Jim Rigos is an accountant (CPA-CMA) and an attorney (JD, LLM) who graduated from Boston University Law School. He has written and lectured widely in the area of individual, professional and CPA firm ethics and legal liability.
  • He is an experienced mediator/arbitrator and a past member of AICPA’s Accountants Legal Liability Task Force. He also serves as a National Director of the American Association of Attorney-CPAs and is past President of the Washington State chapter.
  • He has personally handled over 200 legal-ethical cases involving CPAs in the last 23 years.
